Our boss at the time had set us high standard in every jobs we do, and personally taught me the valuable lesson on cracking briefs and copy crafting. He was an art-based Group Head, yet his copy knowledge was one the strongest I have seen in the industry.
The copy goes like this:
“Excuse this ad for making you twist. This is to show how the world’s best bartenders create their masterpiece mix. They start by putting their trust in the world’s best mixer, Schweppes. The sparkling, clear taste that has been mixing in the very best circles, and the very best drinks since 1851.Now that you know their secret, a twist of your head is worth it, isn’t it?”
